A little of our history…
In June 2007, Navin Chetty and Anita Das acquired B Wadee Opticians at 51 Raeburn Place – a well-established practice founded by Mr Wadee and his wife in the Edinburgh neighbourhood of Stockbridge some 18 years previously. Building on the loyal patient base built up by Mr Wadee, Navin and Anita saw the potential and soon felt they had outgrown No.51, and when the right property became available they moved just a little further along Raeburn Place to 9a-11.
In February 2010 the brand new spacious, professionally designed, modern premises were opened for business and the practice has been receiving positive feedback ever since. The aim of the move was to reduce waiting times and enhance customer service levels, thanks to the addition of a second testing room and further dispensing facilities. Patients are continuing to acknowledge the comfortable, fresh and open environment offering a wide choice of frames, both in terms of volume and the vast array of styles on display.
