Founded by Paul Mullen, PARA-DAIZA’s journey began amidst the closure of Xile Clothing, where Paul had spent over 25 years witnessing the growth and success of the iconic Scottish independent. Despite the challenges faced, Paul’s unwavering determination and love for great products led to the creation of PARA-DAIZA—a brand name rooted in ancient history, traced back to the Proto-Indo-Iranian term paradaiza, para (meaning “around”) and daiza (meaning”walls”). A brand dedicated to embracing independence and sustainability.
The brand blends the old with the new, offering a collection that reflects timeless elegance and contemporary style. From the Re-Purposed collection, which breathes new life into vintage second-hand goods, to the high-quality clothing designed to stand the test of time, the brand is committed to responsible fashion and community-driven initiatives.
