Paulin is an independent Scottish watch brand and design house with stores in both Glasgow’s West End and Edinburgh’s Stockbridge, and having just launched their first art exhibition at their Raeburn Place location in Stockbridge, are branching out to new creative endeavours.
The exhibition is the result of an open call which was put out to creatives from around Scotland and the rest of the UK, and is very much in keeping with Paulin’s desire to stay connected to the local creative community.

Paulin’s first art exhibition, which coincides with the launch of their newest timepiece, the Paulin Neo, is centered around the theme of process. Chosen because of its ability to be interpreted widely, and its innate connection to the process of watch design and making, the term process is naturally intertwined with the making of art and objects. This exhibition, however, champions this notion in a plethora of directions, as artists take on the term and interpret it in ways personal to them.
This exhibition sees the work of 13 artists brought together through the commonality of process, which highlights an amalgamation of creative talent. On display amongst Paulin’s design-led watches and leather goods are ceramic works, paintings, photography, drawings, collages, digital paintings and textile pieces. Not only is there a variety of mediums on display, but also a variety of topics. From abstract interpretations, to forensically detailed architectural drawings, the compact space displays something for all artistic preferences and is a positive magnification of all manners of creativity.
A first for Paulin, Process aims to bring local artists together under this wide umbrella, utilising a space normally conceived for commercial retail and transforming it into a creative location which celebrates original talent, creativity, and artistry.
