Founded by Italian designer, couturier, and tailor Sergio Tosoratti, alongside business partner Gaston Borrajo Zeni, the establishment has garnered a reputation for excellence in haute couture, bridal couture, and alterations for both ladies and gentlemen.
With over 25 years of experience acquired in Italy, Sergio Tosoratti brings a wealth of expertise and artistry to the craft of tailoring. His journey began in prestigious fashion houses such as Casa della Sposa and Rafaela Curiel Haute Couture in Monte Napoleone, Milan. In 1991, drawn by the charm of Edinburgh, Sergio embarked on a working holiday, ultimately deciding to establish roots in the Scottish capital. Collaborating with an esteemed Italian tailor who had previously worked for Coco Chanel, Sergio opened his own atelier on Deanhaugh Street – Stockbridge in 1993.
In 2003, Gaston Borrajo Zeni joined Sergio, forming Sergio Tosoratti to expand the reach of Sergio’s designs and craftsmanship. Together, they relocated to 26 Raeburn Place – Stockbridge, where they continue to operate today, delivering the highest quality of tailoring services paired with exceptional customer service.
