Stockbridge Primary School is a City of Edinburgh local authority school. They welcome children of all faiths from ages 3 to 12. They are fortunate in enjoying extensive, flexible facilities in traditional yet modernised buildings. All class areas have interactive white boards installed.
The main school is housed in a listed Victorian building designed by award winning architect Rowand Anderson. In addition to the seven classrooms in the main building there is a dining room/gym/assembly hall, a Support for Learning base, an Early Years Base, a school Library, a P7 Common Room, management/meeting room and a Resources room.
A Georgian annexe accommodates our Nursery, After School Club, Art room, Music room, violin and brass instructors’ room, Parents’ Room, and a Support for Learning base.
The school grounds include garden areas, picnic and seating areas, a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), an adventure trail, a traversing wall as well as tarmac play areas.
