Coco Chocolatier specialises in making organic, hand-crafted and most importantly delicious chocolates that are gluten & soy free and often vegan. All chocolate creations are made by skilled chocolatiers in a Chocolate Kitchen in Summerhall, Edinburgh and delivered fresh to the Raeburn Place shop. This independent chocolate business fits into the area perfectly with its quality hand-crafted treats and indulgent drinking chocolate.

The Coco range includes mouth watering, soft centred truffles, beautifully flavoured chocolate bars wrapped in stylish designs, cubes of chocolate pave ideal for after-dinner sharing and much more.

Ingredients used by Coco are often locally sourced so you will find flavours like Artisan Roast Espresso, Hazelnut and Isle of Skye Sea Salt and crazy good Haggis Spice.
The company’s big sellers are award winning Gin and Tonic and Rose and Black Pepper flavours, but there is something interesting for everyone in their wide range!
The big thing is their drinking chocolate, out should we say, drinking chocolates, as they have seven exciting flavours of this warming drink. The 70% dark one can be made vegan and you can pick a spicy Aztec option, earthy cardamom and cinnamon or soothing lavender that calms your mind with its gentle scent. Alternatively you can go for the mild & creamy organic white chocolate with lavender, lemongrass & vanilla.
Coco Chocolate stands for organic quality product and it uses single origin beans from Dominican Republic that are sourced from small cooperatives as a base for all their chocolate creations. It makes you feel good when eating or giving away their beautiful products.
Coco’s Stockbridge shop is still being finished and we will have to wait until next year to see it in full glory. There is a rumour going around about a chocolate workshop room at the back of the shop. It’s definitely a space worth watching!
