After working in established practices across Scotland for over 8 years, Chiropractors Jayne Brassington, Tess Brady and Alyssa Paris have opened a new clinic in the heart of Stockbridge.
Edinburgh Chiropractic Clinic has opened just in time to help you shake off the winter blues and get healthy for an active spring. With a great location in North West Circus Place, Edinburgh Chiropractic Clinic is open and ready to treat a variety of conditions suffered by Stockbridge locals.
Chiropractic is a UK government registered health care profession requiring a minimum of 5-year University study. Chiropractic focuses on spinal alignment to ensure optimal function of the nervous system, which can help heal neck pain, back pain, headaches, inflexibility and sporting injuries. Most importantly, it can act as a way to prevent these conditions. With more strains on our lifestyles through poor dietary habits, poor communication and sedentary work environments, our need for healthcare and best outcome measures is growing. Consequently, chiropractic is the largest growing healthcare group in the world.

Chiropractors Jayne Brassington, Tess Brady and Alyssa Paris are highly experienced at treating patients young and old (and everything else in between); from newborns suffering from feeding difficulties/unsettledness to people with balance problems, stiffness and herniated discs. With the application of advanced gentle technique, age is not a barrier for treatment. Edinburgh Chiropractic Clinic is open to patients from all walks of life, offering affordable treatments and accepting a range of insurance policies.
Jayne Brassington graduated from RMIT University, Australia in 2001. Since graduating, she has worked successfully in family practices in Australia, Holland, Spain, the UK and the Philippines.
Having been a migraine sufferer in the past, Jayne is well aware of the emotional, physical and chemical causes of illness. Experiencing the benefits of well-educated chiropractors and their various approaches led her to study chiropractic in order to help those in her community.
In 2008, Jayne graduated valedictorian of the coveted International Chiropractors Association post-graduate degree in clinical paediatrics and pregnancy, which is a board exam status in the USA. Having a strong interest in all age groups’ health, Jayne feels it is imperative to understand the mechanisms of disease, health, wellness and preventable sickness.
Tess Brady also graduated from RMIT University, Australia. Where she completed a 3-year undergraduate program, Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic), and a 2-year Master in Clinical Chiropractic.
Tess has had a lifetime of chiropractic care, having been adjusted from just two days of age. Chiropractic had such a big impact on her family that her three older brothers also became chiropractors. Having seen and experienced the benefits of chiropractic in her entire family’s health, it seemed logical to become a chiropractor and share these benefits with others.
Tess has a special interest in family chiropractic and is passionate about treating patients from all walks of life, from the very young to very old. Her goal is to help others reach their full potential in spite of the physical, chemical and emotional stresses that are placed on the body each day.
Alyssa Paris is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association. She graduated from the Franco European Institute of Chiropractic (IFEC) in Toulouse, France.
You’d never guess from her French accent that Alyssa has Scottish origins; she grew up in the South of France in a Franco-Scottish family. Alyssa is passionate about chiropractic and about optimising health standards. In addition to her work in Scotland, Alyssa has participated in chiropractic mission efforts in Africa with the humanitarian organization Kheir d’Afrik.
Alyssa emphasises that chiropractic can help the body use its own resources to achieve better health and to reach full potential. She personalizes her practice for each patient in accordance to his or her needs.
Jayne, Tess and Alyssa look forward to being part of the Stockbridge community. If you have any questions please contact them at Balanced Fitness 35-37 North West Circus Place. edinburghchiro@gmail.com
