The International Festival and Festival Fringe are underway, and with local residents and tourists alike trying to decide what to spend their hard earned money on, The Stockbridge Restaurant is doing its bit to prevent the pinch with a series of offers this August.
The romantic basement restaurant is offering 25% off its new weekend lunch service, and a 20% pre-theatre discount for guests dining at the weekend this August.
The restaurant introduced its Weekend Lunch Menu in May, available Saturday and Sunday, between 12:30pm and 2pm with a locally sourced selection of tapas, brunch dishes, and larger plates. Escape the crowds and enjoy a lazy lunch in Stockbridge cooked by 2 AA Rosette Chef Jason Gallagher. Crab cakes with cherry tomato salsa, seared Shetland salmon, or an omelette filled with your choice of wild mushrooms, chorizo or smoked salmon; all washed down with a drink of the day selected by Proprietor Jane Walker. Or prepare yourself for an evening of entertainment, with a pre-theatre offer with 20% off the restaurant’s A La Carte Menu on Friday and Saturday. Situated on Stockbridge’s St. Stephen Street, the restaurant is perfectly placed for the Saint Stephen’s Theatre, or a short walk up to the festivities in George Street and St Andrew Square.

Named as one of the UK’s 20 Sexiest Restaurants by The Times, the restaurant’s a la carte menu showcases a selection of fine dining dishes including Nougatine of foie gras with fig chutney, Gressingham duck breast with crispy duck confit, and seared sea bass with crab cake, and avocado ice cream.
The 20% pre-theatre discount is available on food only for bookings between 6pm-6:30pm on Friday and Saturday evenings in August (please quote offer on booking, table booked for 2 hrs). On Sunday’s the restaurant invites guests to bring their own wine, corkage £4 and £5 for fizz.
