The Whisky Forager is Scottish Dining Experience where emphasis is placed on pairing Scottish whiskies with food showcasing a passion for all things Scottish, local and ethical. Patron Chef, Colin Hinds heads up Whisky Forager and this latest project is a natural progression from his last, the award winning Seafood Restaurant, Kilted Lobster.
The aim of Whisky Forager, is to pair limited editions, silent distillery, single cask editions and hard to find old and rare whisky with seasonal Scottish produce to create a dining experience that is both unique and bespoke.

The five course tasting menu has been created to excite and delight both the Whisky connoisseur and those new to the world of whisky alike, with the emphasis on creating harmony or contrast to give a truly bespoke Scottish dining experience. Each course has been created to maximise enjoyment, making this an experience only available for a matter of weeks.
The tasting menu will showcase what’s best from the market, the fishmonger and the farmer each week, paired with amazing drams, limited editions, distillery exclusives and all time favourites. We will also offer a Gin pairing menu instead if you would prefer to sample some of the best gins available both from Scottish distilleries and afar!
A champion of Scottish produce using modern and classic techniques, artistry and quirky presentation, Colin’s flavour profiles are fun and exciting – a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds.
The restaurant has been designed with social distancing in mind and thus will only seat 8-10 guests in one sitting per evening. Five course tasting menu with paired drams (or gins if you don’t like whisky) will cost £69pp.
