Henris is a small bit of France in the middle of Stockbridge, from the outside you would not expect the foodie delights within. It was a lot larger than I expected with the walls filled to the brim with lovely meats, cheese, wine and other deli products (even their own Henri marked shopping bags).

It was full with people and I was slightly concerned we weren’t going to be able to get a table! It has a warm and comforting family vibe to it, with everyone around buzzing with conversation. The waitress we had was friendly with a constant smile, and that was great because in my opinion service can make or break a dining experience!

We ordered the Greek yoghurt with a vanilla poached pear, the bacon brioche, and the ‘Cheese and Charcuterie Assiettes’. I unfortunately never tried the poached pear (as it was gone within seconds), however it looked lovely. The bacon brioche was delicious especially the melted cheese aspect, as it made this dish a lot more than just a bacon roll. The cheese and meat board was fabulous! I ordered the mixed board for one person and A LOT arrived, I had to have some help to finish it! This does not mean I did not enjoy it as it was lovely and a great opportunity to try a little bit of everything that they sell at their deli counter! It also comes with some bread and butter which they refill if you need some more. To drink I had a cappuccino and it was very enjoyable, it also surprised me how fast it arrived to the table!

From filming Henris it was clear to me how hard they all work there, as every member of staff was constantly busy and it seemed very organised.
Overall I was happy with my experience of Henris and I will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu (and the wine)! I hope you enjoy my short video review of my time there!
